The Story Behind the Painting
My grandma was one of the biggest influences in my life. After she passed away, I knew I wanted to create a painting to commemorate her. My grandma was an entrepreneur and had a restaurant out of her home., even publishing her own cook book.
I spent many days cooking with my grandma. This picture captured us icing a cake, and then smearing the icing on each other's faces.
This painting celebrates the cook and friend my grandma was to myself and many others!
